15-01 Birthdays and Birth Day

ON THE ROAD Molly is in her favorite place while riding in the car. It makes my job a little tougher, but I love the closeness. She's such a big help!

MADE IT Sitting on the front porch at Lyn and Joe's. Chalk up another 7-hour drive for Doug.

THAT'S MORE LIKE IT Yeah, that's what was missing -- a nice cold brewskie!

MOLLY GETTING RE-ACQUAINTED This used to be her home, but it takes a while for the memory to come back.

CATFISH DINNER AT THE COUNTRY KITCHEN Oh, yeah! Nothing on Earth like a good catfish dinner at the local café.

DOUG AND LYN Just in case you couldn't figure that out on your own.

LYN AND JOE Again, for those of you that are a little bit slow.

JOE'S NEW SHIRT He uses this phrasing a lot these days. Why not?

CONGRATULATIONS, JOE!!! It took an awful long time, but you did it.

HYACINTHS FROM STACEY Lyn got a nice little bucket of hyacinths from sister Stacey.

THE BIRTHDAY TREE Lyn still had her Christmas tree up, so she decided to make it fit the occasion. Molly just loved climbing in it, even though I told her not to.

CAT TILE A hanging tile I gave her. It reads "Cats Invented Self-Esteem."

FAMILY TILE Another tile I gave her, but I can't remember what it said. Sorry.

TWO OLDIES Lyn just loves old movies, so I got her a couple of her favorites.

COMPUTER TIME Her sweet little cat Feathers just loves to help her work on the computer. Unfortunately, she's pregnant now and can't fit anymore and has to put her foot up on the table.

JUST A LITTLE BIT PREGGERS You can see she's just about to pop. It won't be long now.

THE BIRTHING BOX Lyn fixed up this box near the computer so she could keep an eye on Feathers. Unfortunately, Feathers had other spots in mind.

MOLLY ON GUARD She always likes to keep an eye on things, usually from a height.

IN THE IVY One of her favorite places to sit in my bedroom. I finally had to trim off the dead leaves as they made much too nice of a sound for her.

DOUG'S TURN It's my birthday now and time for goodies. WOO HOO!!!

CAT SPOONREST Lyn gave me the cutest spoonrest for my birthday. I love it!

FAWLTY TOWERS SHIRT Fawlty Towers is one of my favorite British sitcoms. I love the shirt, unfortunately it was sized for the British and was too small.

JAR O' PISTACHIOS I love pistachios and I love this jar. It now rests on the lower shelf of my coffee table.

A LITTLE NOSE TIME Lilly had to give me a little nose time for my birthday. She's so sweet!

THE DAY HAS COME I woke up on Monday the 5th and the fun had begun. I was intending to head home that day, but put it off to attend the festivities. I'm glad I did. As you can see, Feathers chose the back room to have her kitties in. We had to fetch them out.

IN THE BIRTHING BOX Now they're nestled in their new home and back to nursing. Feathers is such a good mommy.

TEENY-TINY THINGS They're so small and defenseless. Welcome to the world, kiddos!!!

SPOONREST AT HOME And here's my spoonrest in its new home. I just love it!
