And the place was hopping. As I happened along around 11:30, I managed to just beat the crunch of 25 members of a car club who were scheduled to swarm in. What a break, but as you can see, there were still a ton of folks here. If you look closely on the right, you can see the owner/operator/cook Sally through the stainless steel pass-through window. (A lucky shot. I didn't even plan that.) She runs a tight cafe, she does, telling her kids (the wait staff) to "Tell those people out there the burgers are just cooked; no medium rare or well done -- none of that crap!" Yes, ma'am, no problem.
